Youth Director Tony Wagoner
I was saved at an early age after the children of my church and I were part of a play. As clear as day God spoke to my heart, telling me that I needed to be saved. Despite many hardships while growing up I can see that the Lord has always had His hand on my life. He has allowed me to serve Him in high school as a member of FCA, in college as a counselor both at summer day camps and AWANA, and abroad through missions. He has also allowed me to be a Sunday School Teacher and blessed me with being able to work with the youth. It has always been my desire to see the youth of our nation come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior and grow in their relationships with Him. I am thankful for my wife and daughter and the roles they play in helping me in my spiritual walk. I pray God will continue to use me in whatever ways His will deems here at Franklin Heights Baptist Church, and am excited about what Christ holds in the future for the teens of our church.
John 3:30- He must increase, but I must decrease.
Children's Director David Simpson

Brother David Simpson grew up in a Methodist church from  infant through high school. While attending college he stopped attending church. In 1999 he began going on many mission trips with Franklin Heights Baptist Church to Rocky Mount NC helping with flood relief. After seeing the all the devastation and shells of empty homes, he realized the emptiness in his own life. He afterwords accepted Christ into his life and was baptized at Franklin Heights Baptist. He rededicated his life to Christ in November, 2007 allowing Jesus to direct his path. In November, 2008 the church approached him about serving as the Children's Minister. After weeks of prayer the Lord laid it upon his heart to serve in that position. On January 1st 2009 he started the Children's Ministry and brother David says " God has already blessed this ministry more than I could have ever imagined." He and his wife has seen many children accept Christ into their lives since they started ministering to them. They now have a hand bell, puppet, RA, and GA ministry that is going very well." We want to praise God for what he is doing and going to do with this ministry and the future leaders of our church."
